Factors Related to Nurses' Retention: A Review and Perspective |

Abstract
In recent years, hospitals face a shortage of nursing manpower had reduced ward's bed number, In addition to affecting the patient's rights,problems on the long-term shortage of manpower influence retention rate of recently employed personnel, and also affect desire of graduates who are going to work at hospital. This study reviews past relevant literature about nurses' retention willingness to summarize the relevant factors that affect the intention of stay, According to literature review, most studies have pointed out that the personal attributes and working attributes of nursing staff are important factors influencing the willingness to stay.However,job satisfaction, organizational commitment, work environment empowerment, nursing work environment, nursing practice environment, physical working environment, scheduling satisfaction, supervisor satisfaction, nursing career development, promotion opportunities, job adaptation, nursing ability, organizational climate, work pressure are variables of willingness to stay.According to a complete review, put forward the relevant response strategy, as a reference to the development of effective strategies to attract nursing staff.
